Waste Management: Project SHRAM

Another area close to our heart in which we dive further is the realisation of the critical role of environmental sustainability in creating a better future. We hope to partner with local level individual players who are making that giant leap of faith and striving in their own simple, effective yet small ways to make a dent in the huge environmental crisis staring in the face of humanity.

Our scope with Waste Management will begin with: Project SHRAM – a labour of love.

Which shall take its essence from our BBF cultural code (Always a HUMANE world where we empower people helping them achieve tangible upliftment through Honorable, Upright, Modern, Authentic, Nourishing, Ethical practices leading to self-reliance) wherein it’ll include in its ambit -

• Working to reduce the amount of waste that ends in landfills and oceans.
• Working through partnership with local governments, businesses, and individuals to develop recycling and waste reduction programs with the potential to make tangible & long- term impact on the environment.
• Best Practices thru Awareness centred projects – catching gated communities and school and college students and getting them involved in ensuring Waste is segregated properly to reach the end users.
• Renewable energy
• Supporting Self-Help women groups in creating viable economic livelihoods through Waste recycling
• Connecting Enterprises who are already in the process of making end production of recycled reusable products by partnering with them for their raw materials & also helping them expand their market reach.
